Meet Julie

A middle-aged woman with shoulder-length blond hair, smiling and holding her hands together in a prayer-like gesture, wearing a white sleeveless top and a smartwatch.

I’m Julie Collins, founder of Gentle Nest and a lifelong advocate for family and wellbeing.

My career spans many years as a Registered Nurse, Midwife and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health visitor) I’ve supported families through all stages of early childhood, guided by the Healthy Child Programme and a deep commitment to evidence-based care. As a certified yoga teacher, I now integrate these foundations with calming, restorative practises that nurture both parents and children.

My work is grounded in compassion, connection, empowerment and professionalism. I believe every child - regardless of background, culture or ethnicity, deserves the best start in life and I’m here to help make that possible.
