My Services

Gentle Nest is a support for mothers and parents with babies or young children through yoga, breastfeeding support and holistic wellbeing service.

I have over 30 years of experience in public health and midwifery, with a diploma in breastfeeding support and I am a certified yoga teacher.

It is my aim to offer a calm, informed and personalised approach to early parenthood.

  • Vinyasa Flow - Dynamic and restorative yoga styles that support resilience, rest and nervous system regulation

    Parent and Baby Yoga & Baby Massage - Bonding through gentle movement and touch; promoting relaxation and development for both parent and child

    Private sessions - Tailored to individual needs, available in-home or in-studio

    Ante & Post-natal Yoga - Safe, nurturing sessions to support physical and emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and recovery

    Yin Yoga - Focuses on targeting the deeper connective tissues of the body, like fascia, ligaments and joints; by holding poses for extended periods

  • Child development reviews - Following the Healthy Child Programme, including developmental screenings (Ages and Stages Questionnaires - ASQ/ASQ-SE) growth tracking with calibrated baby scales and onward referral where appropriate

    Breastfeeding Guidance & Support - Aligned with UNICEF Baby friendly standards, offering support with latch, positioning, feeding concerns and maternal confidence

    Maternal Health Support & Sleep advice - Screening for maternal mood and wellbeing, practical guidance for infant sleep and feeding routines and vitamin D and weaning advice (Start for Life)

  • Group Yoga Sessions

    Small 10 Person Classes

    • 5x week Block Booking - £50

    • 1 × 1 hour session - £12.50

    Baby Massage and Baby Yoga sessions

    45 min Small Group Sessions - 5 babies per class. Note: Baby Classes Only available in 5 week block bookings.

    • 5 week block - £50

    Group ages:

    • 8 > 20 weeks

    • 20 weeks > Walking

    Private Maternal & Child Wellbeing Session

    Breastfeeding Support, Maternal Health Support, Child Development Reviews. These can take place on the phone, in a public setting, at your home or at my home. I recommend my free 15min telephone consultation initially to decide what suits you best before booking one of these sessions.

    • Initial 15 min telephone consultation - Free

    • 60min Session (In person or telephone) - £75

    • 90min Session (In person or telephone) - £100

    • Telephone Session - £25 per 30 minutes

    *child development 1 hour minimum session

  • 1. Booking and Payment:

    • The booking process begins by completing and submitting the online booking system

    • Details for making an online payment will made through the booking system

    • You must make the full payment to confirm your booking.

    2. Refunds and Cancellations:

    • Payments for group classes are non-refundable.

    • Private one-to-one consultations may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, otherwise it will not be possible to reschedule, and your payment will not be refunded.

    3. Safety and Responsibility:

    • All clients participate in sessions at their own risk. Gentle Nest is not liable for any injury or health issue arising from participation.

    • All yoga clients must complete a health questionnaire and agree to the service disclaimer. This form can be downloaded from the website and submitted by email before the course begins.

    • It is the responsibility of the client to inform Gentle Nest of any medical conditions or changes to their health status, before starting any session.

    4. Insurance and Safeguarding:

    • Gentle Nest holds appropriate Professional Yoga and Public Liability Insurance.

    • Gentle Nest instructor holds a current DBS certificate.

    5. Data Protection and Confidentiality:

    • All client information is treated confidentially. All personal information will be held securely and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

    • Client data will only be used for the purposes of managing bookings, delivering services, and health & safety compliance.

    • Health details are used solely for safe practice of yoga and wellbeing services.

Gentle Nest is a blend of expert-led yoga, personalised breastfeeding support and holistic parenting guidance, in a calm and supportive setting.
